One of the biggest reasons why Fremont has become a popular place for residents in the tech industry is the easy access to highways and public transit. Fremont Station is conveniently located in Downtown Fremont, and makes it easy to commute to and from Silicon Valley (approximately 90 minutes each way). If you own a car, the commute is cut down to less than half an hour thanks to Interstate 880 and the Dumbarton Bridge.
